Do I need an appointment for an oil change at San Juan Auto Smog?

What type of oil do you use?
We provide only a full-synthetic oil change service. We do not offer conventional or blended oil options. Our standard oil change packages include up to 5 quarts of full synthetic oil and a standard oil filter.
What is included in the Premium Package starting at $149.99?
The Premium Package starting at $149.99 includes a full synthetic oil change with up to 5 quarts, a standard oil filter, tire rotation, and brake inspection. Additional charges may apply for OEM, premium, or canister filters, premium oil, additional oil, and taxes/fees.
Do you offer OEM oil filters?
Yes. OEM, premium, and canister filter options are available when needed, with additional charges as applicable.
Can I add a tire rotation to my oil change?
Yes. Tire rotation can be added to an oil change appointment, and it is included in the Premium Package starting at $149.99.
Can I add a brake check or brake inspection to my oil change?
Yes. Brake inspection is included in the Premium Package, and brake-related maintenance can be discussed during your visit.
Do you offer fluid checks with an oil change?
Yes. Fluid checks are available as part of a more complete maintenance visit and are included in select packages.
Do you offer multi-point inspections?
Yes. Multi-point inspections are available to help spot routine maintenance issues before they become more expensive problems.
Do you serve customers outside Fair Oaks?
Yes. We regularly serve drivers from Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Sacramento, Gold River, and nearby communities.

Yes, when availability allows. We recommend booking ahead so we can have the right oil and filter ready for your vehicle.

We offer full-synthetic oil changes designed to help support engine protection and long-term vehicle performance.
Do you offer different oil change packages?
Yes. We offer package options ranging from a basic full synthetic oil change to more complete visits that can include a multi-point inspection, fluid check, brake check, and tire rotation.
How do I know which package is right for me?
If you want a simple oil change, choose the basic package. If you want more preventive maintenance covered in a single visit, one of the upgraded packages may be a better fit.
What is included in your oil change service?
Our oil change service starts with up to 5 quarts of full synthetic oil and a standard oil filter. Depending on the package you choose, additional services may include a multi-point inspection, fluid check, brake check, and tire rotation.
Do you take any special precautions to protect my car during service?
We wear gloves and use protective seat covers and floor mats during service to help keep your vehicle clean
Can I get a tire rotation during my oil change?
Yes. Tire rotation is included in select packages and may also be available as an add-on service.
Can I get my brakes checked during an oil change?
Yes. Brake checks can be paired with an oil change and are included in select packages.
Do you replace air filters?
Yes. Engine air filter and cabin air filter replacement are available.
Do you offer any filter specials?
Yes. Purchase both an engine air filter and a cabin air filter during the same visit and save an additional $15 off the total invoice after tax.
Do you offer OEM oil filters or OEM parts?
OEM parts and filter options are available on request. Additional charges may apply depending on the vehicle and parts needed.
How often should I get an oil change?
That depends on your vehicle, driving habits, and the manufacturer’s recommendations. Check your owner’s manual and stay consistent with the recommended service interval.
Do you offer extra savings for smog check customers?
Ask us about combining your smog check and oil change during the same visit.
