FAQs - Air & Cabin Filters

Have questions? We have answers!

  • What is the difference between an engine air filter and a cabin air filter?

The engine air filter helps protect your engine by filtering dirt and debris from the air entering the engine. The cabin air filter helps reduce dust, pollen, and other particles entering the passenger compartment through the ventilation system.

  • How often should I replace my engine air filter and cabin air filter?

Replacement timing depends on your vehicle, driving conditions, and manufacturer recommendations. Many vehicles need filter replacement somewhere in the 15,000 to 30,000 mile range, but dusty roads, heavy traffic, and local driving conditions can shorten that interval.

  • Can you check my filters during an oil change?

Yes. Many drivers choose to have their filters checked during a full synthetic oil change. If replacement is needed, it can often be handled during the same visit.

  • What happens if I do not replace a dirty cabin air filter?

A dirty cabin air filter can restrict airflow from your vents, reduce heating and air conditioning performance, and allow more dust or unpleasant odors into the cabin.

  • How do I know if my engine air filter needs to be replaced?

Common signs may include reduced engine performance, lower fuel efficiency, or a filter that looks dirty or clogged. We can check the condition of your engine air filter during your visit.

  • Can I replace just one filter?

Yes. You can replace either the engine air filter or the cabin air filter on its own.

  • Do you offer a discount if I replace both?

es. Buy both an engine air filter and a cabin air filter during the same visit and save an additional $15 off the total invoice after tax.

  • Are OEM parts available?

Yes. OEM parts are available on request.
